Institute Management Committee

The Institute Managing Committee
is the apex decision making body
responsible for actualizing the
Public Private Partnership. Giving
responsibility without authority
does not produce results and
therefore, the Govt. of Maharashtra
constituted Institute Managing
Committees in the all institutes
vesting them with the authority to
take day to day decisions. These
IMCs are expected to bring fresh air
in the management of ITIs. IMCs
shall have the following functions:
-
* Development of curriculum.
* Forecase of new/emerging training
areas.
* Training of trainers.
* Revenue
generation through industry
projects.
* Testing & Certification of
workers.
* Placement of trainees.
* On the job training.
